Fall Colors on Spring Mountain

I would like to know the latest hot spot for viewing and taking photos of the spectacular fall colors of the vineyards. Where is the exact location and when do you think will it peak?

Hi Joe,
If your looking for vine color there are broad expanses at Marston, Cain, Pride and Spring Mountain Vineyard. If you are interested in native vegetation there are some spots in the second and third mile up the road where the leaves get pretty deep. Just beyond the twin redwoods that squeeze the road. Yesterday, I noticed some red color starting in Paloma Merlot, but I wouldn't expect much vineyard color for at least two more weeks, maybe three. Same with the trees.
